Firefox: We caught Microsoft asleep at the wheel

Firefox has been downloaded 400 million times up to this week.

In an interview with PCPro Tristan Nitot, president of Mozilla Europe, told us how browser security issues had given Firefox a chance to develop, "The browser had been dead while Microsoft was asleep at the wheel. Malware attacks and pop-ups became common and people got fed up with it."

He also explains why FireFox is particularly popular in Europe.
